Our Best Retreat Yet! What you missed.

After every retreat, we turn to each other and exclaim, "That was our best one yet!"  Each one of our retreats and events has a unique spirit - comprised of the soulful energy of the outstanding women who show up.  Our last day long retreat in Malibu was all about tapping into our relationship with ourselves- knowing and loving ourselves so that the lives we create are full of balance, purpose and joy.  Our hostess and keynote speaker, Lavinia Errico, is a celebrated expert on this topic!

Having created Equinox with her two brothers while also balancing motherhood, partnership, and marriage, Lavinia shared with us her journey to where she is now- neutral.  Neutral doesn't sound glamorous, but really it's another word for peace, for being in a place where you are so grounded in your values and happy in yourself and your life that external events do not rock your world-- the highs aren't so high and the lows aren't so low.  Also, if Lavinia is neutral, neutral IS very glamorous indeed!  Lavinia is exuberant and radiant.  She shares with an open heart and truly celebrates and uplifts other women.  We are so happy to have found her- one of our role models, inside and out!

Following a morning which started with Bulletproof Coffee (talk about feeling exuberant!) and breakfast delights by Thyme Cafe, we had an opening ceremony on the lawn where we shared and supported each other's intentions for the day.  Yogi goddess, Samantha Mehra, then led us in poolside yoga and movement, helping us drop into our bodies and get over our egos and discomfort prancing around the pool!

After yoga, SunLife Organics served smoothies and juices that were both delicious and nourishing.  Sipping on SunLife's best, we settled into Lavinia's inspiring living room for a discussion with her on her process and the business of being and staying neutral, while also designing one's happiest life.

Gourmet lunchboxes from Thyme Cafe were enjoyed with Chateau D'Esclans rose and Promise pinot noir, as well as Ferm Fatale kombucha!  Dessert came in the form of the decadent, yet gluten free Choc Brownie cart.  Who knew duck egg brownies would be insanely good? And "good" for you as they are made with local, organic ingredients. In the afternoon,  retreatees chose their own adventure - we offered facials by Sonage, massages by Zeel, tarot readings with Tory Valach, color astrology readings with Rose Theodora, makeovers with Glam Squad, as well as two afternoon breakout sessions with Lavinia, one focused on career and the other on relationships.

As the sun set, we said our goodbyes and hugged old friends and traded info with new ones.  Each woman left with a gift bag - actually two!  One full of Bulletproof Coffee's key products and a starter kit-- trust us, you're never going back to your old joe after this.  Our Wild Precious Life gift bag was full of gifts to continue the self love - Plum Deluxe Self Care tea; boho chic beaded bracelets by our beloved Sisco Berluti; lip scrub and gloss by Sara Happ; copies of the latest Luxe magazine; Carbon 38 gift cards; gluten free Choc brownies; and a beautifying serum from Sonage!

Thank you to all who participated in this magical day.  Share the love, spread the light and let's do it again soon! xox
