Making time for ourselves is harder and harder with kids, husbands, and jobs.  There is something magical that happens when women take time for themselves- especially to connect with other women!  Being with 11 of my best friends from Princeton to celebrate our collective 40th birthdays was an absolute blast.  We let our hair down out on the Chesapeake Bay-- we boated, swam in the Bay, ate oysters, drank too much, laughed, cried, rode bikes, did yoga, got massages, and talked into the wee hours.  That kind of communion with women who have known me half of my life was just what I needed to fill up my tank!  Wish we could do it once a month...  xoxoxo, Mary

Highlights:

Lunch at Merroir

The Tides Inn is well situated and has a lot of offerings.  It is a budget friendlier option on the Bay that is perfectly fine as a home base.  The Inn at Perry Cabin is a more upscale (and expensive option on the Bay).

Bikes to coffee at The Local
